Occasionally, you may hear noise from the drive train. This only occurs when the child pedals backwards and the chain echos inside the chain tubes. This is normal. To ensure the Weehoo® bike trailer is safe and maintenance free, we've enclosed most of the drive train. This ensures that your child will not be able to place their fingers into places their fingers don't belong. This also keep oil from contacting your Childs clothing, car interior, carpet or other things you don't want greasy.
When pedaling forward, the sound from the chain is much quieter.
Check to ensure that the rack over the rear wheel has not been bent to one side, causing the chain tubes to press too firmly against the chain. Simply push on the front of the rack and bend it back into place so that it’s not making contact with the chain tube.
